Diese Woche gibts überwiegend Blogposts technischer Natur. Da ich zur Zeit das ausgegangene Sortiment nachdrucke und dies weniger interessant für euch ist, dachte ich so ein Blick hinter die Kulissen könnte spannend sein. Hier also ein Bild von heute morgen.
Walzen reinigen ist am praktischsten in einer Plastikbox die fast genauso breit ist, wie die Walze selbst. Beide Enden liegen dann auf den Seiten der Box auf und daneben geschütteter Reiniger wird in der Box aufgefangen und läuft nicht über den Atelier-Fußboden schnurstracks auf die „nur mal kurz“ abgestellte Papierlieferung feinstes Gmund Papier zu, was gellendes Geschrei zur Folge hätte, aber das passiert ja nicht. Alles gut. Reiniger kaufe ich übrigens bei drucken und lernen. Und den Tipp mit der Box hab ich von snap and tumble. Ach, man könnte noch Löcher in den Rand schneiden, um die Walzen einzuhaken…

This week there will a few technical posts while I am reprinting things that are out of stock. I thought to look behind the scenes could be more interesting than seeing stuff printed you already know. Also I like to share how I am working as I got so many advices and infos from other printers. So here we start with a picture from tomorrow morning.
Since I read this post on snap and tumble I do clean my rollers in a plastic box that has nearly the same wide as the rollers, so they sit on top. It’s practical and the spilled cleaner would be collected in the box and doesn’t run over the floor straight towards the brand new delivery of finest Gmund paper that I parked there just for a short moment. Phew, hopefully that never happens.
I get the cleaner from „drucken und lernen“ here in Germany. And the box is ikea. 🙂
